Luna Project
The Next Escondida, Next to La Escondida
La Escondida is one of the largest copper-producing mines in the world, with a significant advantage of approximately 200% over the next competitor in the Top 10 copper producers worldwide. It contains huge resources, around 4.8 billion tons with a current reserve grade of approximately 0.7% copper.

Our Luna project is located 22 km west of La Escondida, the rocks that compose it have ages associated with the Eocene, which are similar to the rocks of La Escondida. We have processed more than 150 surface samples and through geochemical analysis we have found the presence of copper, bismuth, arsenic, molybdenum and other typical indicator elements of a porphyry copper deposit. The proportions of copper and molybdenum have the same geochemical concentrations as the rocks found in La Escondida when it was first discovered in 1982
Through a geophysical study, a magnetic anomaly of two billion tons was defined from a depth of 200m from the surface, which corresponds to the same depth at which La Escondida was discovered in 1982. This anomaly is also coincident with phreatic levels of water detected in the area via satellite imaging.
On August 30, 2023, we confirmed the presence of chalcopyrite (primary copper sulfide) in Luna, which reaffirms that the source of a primary copper deposit is in the immediate vicinity of our target porphyry copper – gold deposit at the Luna Project.
A drilling campaign in Luna is our next step.
